Well, it took 4 hours but we got a call. It was the nurse-practitioner and she was very good with DH on the phone. She listened, REALLY listened, went over everything that was worrying him, explained that his symptoms were unpleasant but normal, and was appalled that he was discharged in the condition he was in yesterday.
He's still in pain but at least not worrying if something is wrong that shouldn't be.
It's gonna be a LONG night!

Sorry to hear your DH isn't feeling so good after his "procedure". I hope he is feeling much better soon so you can get some much deserved and needed rest!
that's good news though, see, its always good to talk to a nurse, they have a lot more patience and understanding it seems. He will feel a LOT better if he doesn't worry!!

Teresa, I hope today finds your DH much better. My hubby had the same surgery this spring and he healed fast.
I used to sell a Don Quixote staute when I was in the party plan business. He sold well and I told a wonderful story about him, although for the life of me I could not tell it to you today.

I have to tell you that my SIL is a really good doctor and has (don't pass out) made house calls at times. However, your husband is better off at home than in the hoopsital because of the high numbers of patients contracting Stap Resistant Staph infections or SARS I think it is called.
